Exceptional Duty Manager Required!

The Cornerstone Pub is a family owned and operated business that boasts outstanding views of the Tauranga harbour and is at the heart of Tauranga's nightlife with an array of Bars and Restaurants along The Strand's water front. The Cornerstone Pub creates an experience that appeals to a wide range of people. We pride ourselves on our friendly staff, great atmosphere, consistent service and we consider ourselves the Busiest Bar in the Bay.

Primarily this position will include the successful running of night/weekend shifts. You will be managing a bar team of up to 15 staff on any given shift for a total of 20 overall, delivering exceptional service, maintaining and exceeding the high standards The Cornerstone strives for.

You will be responsible for on the job training through coaching and leading by example. You will be accountable for tills/cash handling and dealing with any issues as they arise in a practical and compassionate manner.

This is a motivated, fun, team orientated business where free training and staff moral are very high on our list of priorities. You will be rewarded for your dedication with consistent feedback and great packages with the possibility of increased responsibility as you progress through the systems.

We require

Current Managers Certificate
At least 2 Years Hospitality Experience
Strong leadership skills such as communication, getting staff on board, delegation, leading by example and building morale.
Excellent organisation, recording and planning skills
Strong work ethic with a mature outlook,
Ability to work consistently under pressure
